I was disappointed. The book is not organized in a proper way to look up topics efficiently. The book is presented by chapters that dump a lot of hardcore scientific facts on your head, without the proper explanation of why these facts are important, how they are related to clinical practice. Yes! Absolutely! The book is very distant from clinical practice. I am so sorry to acknowledge that, but there are much useful books for the same price available on the market.

I was disappointed with this book. I was expecting a lot more from an expensive 1,600+ page comprehensive textbook. Really hard to find information when you try to look a topic up. You have to use the Index extensively to find what you need, which is cumbersome and annoying in a book this size. A lot of basic information is left out or buried in chapters where it doesn't actually belong and where you wouldn't think to look.
