I like this book, nice pictures and an easy read, however, not as much complete content as I would have hoped. I find that I still need to supplement this material with other books.

Most surgical textbooks review major procedures and in some cases include diagrams and general steps. Early in surgical training however, it is useful to have a clear step-by-step book to review and study procedures before entering the OR. The Atlas of General Surgical Techniques: Expert Consult - Online and Print, 1e provides beautiful hand-drawn anatomic images along with clear instructions on the performance of each operation. It outlines important considerations and pertinent anatomy for each procedure that it covers. This is an excellent resource for residents in training or practicing surgeons who want a concise reference on common procedures.
