Easy to do and I love coconut. Some days I've found that I don't want dinner. The coconut oil is making me full. That's a first! I've lost 4 pounds this week. I do have an under active thyroid and since following the recommendations in this book, I have noticed feeling warmer and having more energy. I worked 8 hours out in my garden the other day. That hasn't happened in a couple of years. I hope this is the miracle I've been waiting for. So far, so good.

There's a tremendous amount of information in this book. Much of it I had read in other sources on the benefits of low carb diets versus low fat diets. However, the information in this book on Wilson's Thyroid Syndrome I hadn't heard of before. I had just been talking to a friend about her thyroid tests coming back normal, but she had developed skin problems, her eyebrows were disappearing, and she couldn't lose weight despite exercise and cutting out wheat. Bruce Fife explains what could be happening, and how to fix it both with allopathic medicine and with diet and supplementation with coconut oil. I just sent her a copy of this book. I will also try the ketogenic diet myself.
