I'm not head-over-heels in love with this reference. The one thing I really like is the simplistic explanation of the mechanism of action. I tend to quote this to help patients understand their medications better as it's more at a layman level than typical drug references. I would recommend this if you are just starting nursing school, as I think it would help you grasp the concepts of the meds better than wrapping your head around a normal professional level text, especially if you don't have any medical background.

This book is a must have for any nursing student. It's a little pricey but it's worth it. Love this book.
