This is a very poor text book. This is a first edition and it is full of errors, I wonder how any editor allowed this to hit the market. The the text is very vague and in many cases incorrect. The errors are too numerous to count but here are a few:By Liz
-Anemia is a condition of low platelet count - incorrect anemia is low RBC count
-Ferrets are rodents - incorrect, ferrets are NOT a rodent
-Birds have lungs which reside in the diaphragm - birds have no diaphragm, and even then the diaphragm is not a cavity.
I am very disappointed in this book.
This book should not be on the market. It is full of errors, totally agree with the other reviewer, Liz. Just because it arrived quickly or is " easy to read" doesn't make the text " Good". This is a very poor text book so full of misinformation I feel badly for the students who use it and then expect to keep a job if this is what is being taught.By Tech Teacher
