I bought this for my girlfriend who is entering an accelerated nursing program. She needed to read the first 5 chapters and take an entrance exam on it. It's a good book with decent explanations as to how to do basic 5th grade math (that we all forgot). I gave it a 4/5 because I explained some of the math to her and it was easier my way than the way the book was showing her to do it. Other than that, it was a good book and informative. Refreshes your memory for how to do basic math.By Jarett Menzel
