if you know stats as well as you need to to understand this book, you don't need this book.
In describing the material, the text does a poor job of explaining concepts to those new to statistics. It frequently skips over details you need to understand if you are going to apply statistics appropriately, which is my biggest pet peeves, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. If your class requires this text, and you are new to stats, get another intro stats book to supplement this, and/or expect to spend a great deal of time on youtube figureing things out. THIS is not a stand alone stats text. I have no intension of keeping this book, and I keep all my text books.

No statistics books are easy/fun reads but this one at least helps to break it down into easy to understand applicable topics for healthcare workers.
