If you're going to really study for your IM shelf, get Step up to Medicine (If you have a LOT of study time). If you're like me and you waited until you only had two weeks before your shelf to start cramming, this book will do the trick. You won't do great on your shelf, but you'll certainly pass. I hit exactly national average with just this and a handful of UWorld questions.By P. Lasley
Most of my classmates went with Step up 2 Medicine with the assumption that doing great on your IM shelf would equate to solid preparation for step 2. This... was probably very smart. But, Case Files is quick, easy, basic, and all you need for the NBME shelves.
